Workshops, conversations, and life lessons from cabaret veterans. Why make your own mistakes when you can learn from ours instead?

The spectrum of cabaret, burlesque, and drag is fantastic, expressive, and thrilling. Best of all, anyone can give it a go. We love accessible arts!

But it's easy to find yourself wondering 'what next?' If you're wanting to step into performance, step up your game, or step out of your comfort zone, then you're in luck.

Cabaret Boot Camp is series of informal workshops hosted by experienced comedians, producers, performance artists, and show folk survivors, here to share their hard won wisdom and help support the Ōtepoti cabaret community.
