Fly on the Ceiling : Dunedin Fringe Festival

Fly on the Ceiling

From: Ōtepoti | Dunedin

Visual Art

This street-facing mini art exhibition offers a unique ‘fly on the ceiling’ perspective.

From: Ōtepoti | Dunedin

Artist Anne Baldock invites the viewer in to an intriguing fly on the ceiling perspective. With a passion for painting animals, all scenes incorporate domestic pets or farm animals in some form, often verging on doing the impossible. Extra dimension is achieved in the domestic room interiors through the use of hand cut natural birch plywood strips carefully mitred and layered to form the walls and perimeter furniture. Each work is truly unique.

This little show, which can be viewed from the pavement, will make you smile. Take a moment to stop by and put yourself in the viewing seat of a fly overhead!
