For My Family, And Yours is a deeply personal exploration of the relationships that shape us, told through poetic storytelling and heartfelt music.

With guitar in hand, Ravi the Poet weaves together his own family stories filled with love, gratitude and difficult truths. As he reflects on his fantasies and fears of fatherhood, an innocent childhood with his sister and the sacrifices of his mother, Ravi invites the audience to reminisce on their own experiences of family and love.

This show isn’t just about Ravi’s journey, but about our shared experience. The performance is accompanied by a personal touch: you are given postcards with the prompt "Hey, I just wanted to say ...". As memories are stirred, audiences are encouraged to write down the names of people who have shaped your lives, taking home a tangible reminder to reconnect and share a lovely conversation.

This is a celebration of love taken for granted, and an invitation to reflect on the people who make us who we are. Filled with moments of vulnerability, joy, and healing, For My Family, and Yours will leave you appreciating the loved ones who shaped your journey. Bring tissues.

Winner of the Collective Catharsis Award at Fringe in the 'Stings 2024.

"Gently confronting! Vulnerable story-telling that will take you on a journey and remind you who matters most."

"From humour to joy to sadness, not a dry eye in the room. You made me cry in my soup!"

"It’s a kind of magic that goes beyond mere words or songs, leaving you with a feeling of community that spreads like ripples in a pool."
