Spectacle Presents: Disturbance : Dunedin Fringe Festival

Spectacle Presents: Disturbance

Visual Art Music Digital/Online

Six core artists exploring one theme through multiple mediums. A sensory feast.

Spectacle Presents: Disturbance, an online presentation as part of the 2022 Dunedin Fringe Festival.

A dynamic, immersive, participatory pan-art show removing the limitations of the usual gallery experience.

Likened to a modern day version of the 'Happening' the show is made up of six core Dunedin/Ōtepoti based artists interpreting “Disturbance” within their chosen realms; Chris Miller, Damo Smith, Holly Aitchison, Jess Covell, Sam Caldwell and Taarn Scott.

The link to the show will be available from 1830pm on Friday the 18 March and will continue to be available till Sunday 27 March.

The online presentation will see an exploration of the works of Damo Smith, Jess Covell, Sam Caldwell and Taarn Scott.

Holly Aitchison will be captured creating a live artwork, Chris Miller's composition will be performed by The Spectacle Band and legendary dance doom duo Night Lunch will bring their crusty noise oeuvre of hasty drumming and saturated tone.

Nominated for Best Original Concept, Best Dance and Outstanding Technical Achievement at their debut show in 2021 Dunedin Fringe Festival.

This is a FREE event thanks to the Dunedin City Council Arts Grant and Creative Communities funding, The Dunedin Dream Brokerage, Emersons Brewery and Walsh & Beck.
