Indigo Room : Dunedin Fringe Festival

Indigo Room

26 Moray Place

Wheelchair / Accessible Access

This venue is wheelchair accessible. The entrance is 900mm wide, and there is a ramp from the door to the main venue space, which is 1120mm (there is no railing on this ramp). There are a couple of steps down to one of the spaces in the venue, but plenty of seating is available in the rest of the venue, and this seating can be adjusted to accommodate wheelchair users.

Bathrooms

There is just one bathroom in this venue, which is gender-neutral and wheelchair accessible. It is accessed via a hallway that is 1080mm wide; the toilet door is 770mm and the stall is 1600mm by 1900mm. The lighting in the hallway leading to the toilet is very low, and although the floor is mostly even, there is a small lip at one point.

Approach to Venue

This venue is accessed down an alleyway from Moray Place. The alley is quite steep, so could pose a difficulty to wheelchair users and others with mobility impairments.

There is no reserved accessible parking specifically for this venue, but there is on-street parking on Moray Place. The venue is centrally located and so easy to access via public transport.

Service Dogs

Service dogs are welcome in this venue.
