Maggies
46 Stuart Street, Central Dunedin
Wheelchair / Accessible Access
This venue has three entrances, two of which are wheelchair accessible; the third has two steps leading up to the door. The wheelchair accessible doors are both 1050mm wide and have lever handles.
There are ramps between all three rooms of the venue, which do not have handrails. The bar / counter is not wheelchair accessible from the street but is accessible from inside the venue, up a ramp and through a 1210mm archway.
There is no fixed seating in this venue, so seats can be moved to accommodate wheelchair users.
Bathrooms
There is a wheelchair accessible gender-neutral bathroom, which is reached through a door that is 830mm wide. At the time of writing, the bathrooms were undergoing renovation, so we were unable to measure the dimensions of the stalls.
Approach to Venue
This venue is directly accessible from the street. There is no designated accessible parking but plenty of on-street parking is available, and there is a taxi stand on the same block across the road from the venue.
Service Dogs
Service dogs are welcome in this venue.
